You Got Sweat?

I just started reading a book called ¨Crush It¨ by Gary Vaynerchuk. If you’re not familiar with Gary, he’s an awesome influencer that has been one of the pioneers of professional success through social media, comparable to Casey Neistat. Anyways, I just started this book yesterday and it has already got me overwhelmed, Gary’s very informal but down to earth writing style is perfect for this kind of book, its just relatable to most people and his phrases are just powerful and straight to the point. Here’s an example:

¨You’ve got sweat right? You may not have connections, or an education, or wealth, but with enough passion and sweat, you can make anything happen¨

The book is all about how you can be wealthy while following your passion but differently to other books in the same topic, his emphasis is mostly on the sweat or grind, however you wish to call it. Most people have dreams or passions that they never follow because they fear rejection but later in life they realize that they gave up on something potentially life-changing to the thoughts of people they no longer have a relationship with.

Its always better trying and failing than to never had tried at all, in my case, I always wanted to make a blog, even if nobody ever reads it, all my ideas are documented in a place where I can go back and analyze how my life has change through time and this to me is worth the hustle. I’m passionate about writing about the things that excite me, this to me is not a painful daily task, in fact I look forward to it and when you follow your passions, they could often ¨snowball¨ in to something great, greater than you could ever imagine, but what I’m sure of is that I will never regret putting myself out there and not giving up to fear of what other people might have thought of me because either or, some people just hate the idea that you took a risk they have never been willing to. The first step is to put yourself out there, then the sweat comes to play.
